Parish Council
Stewardship and Service to the Parish
The Parish Council of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church exists to support the pastor and serve the needs of the parish with humility, responsibility, and love for Christ. Working in cooperation with the priest, the council helps guide the practical and administrative life of the church so that the parish can remain strong, organized, and focused on its spiritual mission. This includes supporting ministries, maintaining parish operations, and helping ensure that the church remains a welcoming home for all who enter.
Leadership Rooted in Faith
Parish Council leadership is not merely organizational—it is spiritual stewardship. Council members are called to lead with integrity, prayer, and a commitment to unity, always seeking what builds up the Body of Christ. Through thoughtful decision-making and clear communication, the council works to strengthen parish life, encourage participation across generations, and help the parish move forward with vision and stability. Above all, the Parish Council strives to serve in a way that reflects the Orthodox Christian virtues of honesty, respect, and selfless love.
