Fr. Habib Ghantous
Fr. Habib Ghantous has served the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church with devotion, humility, and pastoral love for nearly two decades. Ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 2005, Father Habib spent many years offering liturgical services, preaching and ministering to the faithful during weekends and evenings while simultaneously working full-time in the corporate sector. In 2025, he answered the calling to serve full-time in parish ministry at St. George Orthodox Church in Terre Haute, Indiana.
His ministry is rooted in humility, compassion, and a deep commitment to the spiritual well-being of the faithful. Fr. Habib is known for his heartfelt preaching, his pastoral presence during times of joy and sorrow, and his desire to help every person grow closer to Christ. He is especially dedicated to strengthening parish life through teaching the Faith, visiting the sick and homebound, guiding families, and fostering unity within the community.
Before entering full-time ministry, Fr. Habib spent more than three decades in program and project management, leading international teams and developing skills in organization, service, and mentorship. These experiences now support his ministry, helping him guide the parish with clarity, steadiness, and care.
Fr. Habib is a devoted husband to Khourieh Norma and a proud father to three sons. He is grateful for the privilege of serving the people of St. George and walking with them on the path of faith, hope, and love in Christ.
