Saint Georges Orthodox Church was founded on May 6, 1927 at 635 North 5th Street. In 1958 a new church on 4th Street was dedicated instead of the old building. In 1962 a rectory was built on the premisses of the chuch. St Georges has had a rich History that can not be filled in one page.
